Arroyo Seco Trail Camp
If you’re looking for a quick, easy weekend escape or just need a solid basecamp to explore Cuyamaca, the Arroyo Seco campsites are a good choice. This is a great first-time backpacking hike or a straightforward gear-testing getaway with plenty of privacy and zero crowd noise. I recently took my son here for his very first backpacking trip. I couldn't find much information online before we left, I put together this quick guide to help you plan your own overnighter.
